About Me

Interactive designer with a hunger for clean and minimal design. Skilled in both print and web. Will forever be a student of all things aesthetically pleasing.

New Ideas & Techniques

Open to new ideas. Strength and insight is gained when trying something new. Technology is continuously being improved and updated—I will always be learning.

CSS Fanatic

Front-end design and development are my strengths. Creating beautiful web layouts with lean CSS and valid XHTML is something I truly enjoy.

Purposeful Design

It is nice to have a design that is aesthetically pleasing, but it should also have an objective. Adding elements because they look good is not effective. Each pixel should have a purpose.

Versatile Toolbox

Skilled in designing for print and the web—I do a good job at bridging the gap between the two mediums. Being well-rounded in multiple areas of design is an advantage.

W3C Valid Code

Valid code is important for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility. Following strict standards ensures the website will be usable for a vast audience.

Passion

There is a spot in my heart for pristine layouts, swiss typefaces, clean code and effective typography. These elements create beautiful design. Too emotional for this website? Nah.

Plans Are Essential

Solid project plans cut down on errors and overhead costs. After all, when everything is organized, the only thing left to do is work until the project is complete. Simple. Essential.

XHTML Strict

The XHTML Strict Doctype cuts down on bloated elements and keeps the code clean for the browser and the developer. I enjoy writing neat code.
